Statue of the Lapponian Herder

The statue of the Lapponian Herder is in Inari, Northern Lapland, in front of the Sámi Museum Siida. Revealed in September 2004, it was donated to the museum by The Lapphund Club of Finland and Finnish Kennel Club. It is by Pekka Ketonen.



Statue of the Finnish Lapponian Dog

Located in Hetta, Enontekiö, by the borders of Norway and Sweden, the statue of the Finnish Lapponian Dog can be found in front of the Fell Lapland Nature and Culture Centre. It was revealed in June 2007, and, like the Lapponian Herder statue, donated by The Lapphund Club of Finland and Finnish Kennel Club. What is more, it was also made by Pekka Ketonen.
